About Ganamed
Ganamed is a leading medical company importing and distributing high-quality orthopaedic products, among them artificial joints, screws, and surgical plates. We supply hospitals and surgeons with the latest solutions and techniques in orthopaedic surgery, to the highest international medical standards.
Ganamed was founded in 2014 to import and distribute orthopaedic implants in Syria. That is the whole of the business: bringing certified implants into the country and getting them to the hospitals and surgeons who need them.
The company holds authorised distribution agreements with Auxein Medical in India and SurgTech Inc in the United States. Both agreements are direct with the manufacturer.
Ganamed today operates from ten locations with a team of more than 75 people, supplying trauma, spine, and joint replacement systems to hospitals, clinics, and surgeons across the country.

The products Ganamed distributes are manufactured under internationally recognised quality systems. Auxein Medical holds CE marking, ISO 13485:2016, MDSAP, and EU MDR 2017/745 certification, with US FDA 510(k) clearances across its implant ranges. SurgTech Inc manufactures under its own US quality system. Ganamed’s role is authorised distribution: we bring these products into Syria through direct agreements with the manufacturers.
